LOVE ON THE RUNWAY • FESTIVAL & CAMPING RULES 2026

We want everyone to have an amazing, safe and hassle-free weekend at Manston Airport.

Please read these rules before travelling and make sure everyone in your group has seen them.

Some rules are particularly important because our event is taking place at an airport.

 AIRPORT SAFETY – ZERO TOLERANCE

 STRICTLY NO DRONES

Drones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED across the entire site, including the festival arena, campsite, car parks, entrances and surrounding event areas.

Anyone attempting to launch or operate a drone may be removed from the event and have their wristband/ticket cancelled. Incidents may also be reported to the police and/or relevant aviation authorities.

 NO LASER PENS

Laser pens and high-powered lasers are strictly prohibited.

Anyone deliberately using a laser in a way that could endanger aircraft or aviation operations will be removed from the event and may be reported to the police and airport authorities.

 NO KITES, HELIUM BALLOONS OR FLYING OBJECTS

No kites, helium balloons or other objects designed to fly or float into the air are permitted.

THIS IS AN AIRPORT – PLEASE TAKE THESE RULES SERIOUSLY.

 TICKETS

* NO TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT MANSTON AIRPORT.

* All tickets must be purchased in advance through our official **Ticket Tailor** ticket link.

* Once a ticket type sells out, **that ticket link will close**.

* Please have your ticket/QR code ready before reaching the entrance.

* Festival wristbands must remain intact throughout the event.

* Damaged, removed or tampered-with wristbands may become invalid.

 LAST ENTRY – 6PM

Last entry for Day Ticket and Weekend Pass holders is strictly 6PM.

Please allow plenty of time for travelling, parking, shuttle transport, walking to the entrance and security checks.

Do not arrive after 6PM expecting to gain entry.

Separate arrival arrangements apply to campers and will be published with the camping information.

 UNDER 18s

* Anyone under 18 must attend with a responsible adult aged 18+

* Strictly no unaccompanied under-18s will be admitted.

* The responsible adult must remain at the event with them.

* Alcohol must not be purchased for or supplied to anyone under 18.

* Challenge 25 may operate at festival bars.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for children in their care.

 SECURITY & SEARCHES

* Security searches will operate at festival entrances.

* Bags may be searched.

* Campers will pass through an internal security checkpoint every time they move from the campsite into the festival arena.

* Anyone refusing to comply with an authorised security search may be refused entry.

* Prohibited items will not be permitted into the relevant area.

* Security reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour presents a danger or serious nuisance to others.

Please cooperate with our security team • they're there to keep everyone safe.

 PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following must NOT be brought onto the festival site:

* Weapons or items intended for use as weapons

* Illegal drugs

* Psychoactive substances

* Nitrous oxide/canisters

* Fireworks

* Flares

* Smoke bombs

* Pyrotechnics

* Laser pens

* Drones

* Kites

* Helium balloons

* Glass

* Fuel/petrol containers

* Unauthorised generators

* Large sound systems

* Any item security considers dangerous

Additional restrictions may apply between the campsite and festival arena.

 FESTIVAL ARENA • FOOD & DRINK

No food or drink may be brought into the main festival arena, subject to reasonable medical/accessibility requirements.

We've got a great selection of food vendors, fully licensed bars, cocktails, soft drinks and drinking water available.

Alcohol purchased or brought into the campsite cannot be taken into the festival arena.

 MEDICATION

Required prescribed medication is permitted.

Where possible, please keep medication in its original packaging.

If you need to bring medication involving needles, refrigeration, specialist equipment or unusual quantities, please contact the festival team before travelling so appropriate arrangements can be made.

 ACCESSIBILITY

Accessible facilities and arrangements will be available.

Customers requiring accessible parking, entrance arrangements or additional assistance should contact Love On before travelling so we can provide the correct information.

 DOGS & ANIMALS

Dogs are NOT permitted inside the main festival arena.

However, dogs ARE permitted for customers staying in the designated campervan or motorhome area, subject to the following:

* Dogs must remain within the campervan/motorhome camping area and cannot enter the festival arena.

* Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead when outside your campervan or motorhome.

* Dogs must not be left unattended for extended periods.

* Owners are responsible for their dog's welfare throughout the weekend.

* Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste responsibly.

* Dogs displaying aggressive or dangerous behaviour may be required to leave the site with their owner.

* Please consider noise, crowds and weather conditions before bringing your dog.

*Dogs are NOT permitted with standard tent camping.*

Appropriately trained assistance dogs are exempt from the festival-arena restriction, subject to our accessibility arrangements.

 CAMPING RULES

 CAMPING WRISTBANDS

Campers will receive the appropriate camping wristband.

Campers can move between the campsite and festival arena throughout the weekend, subject to security procedures.

NO CAMPING WRISTBAND = NO CAMPSITE ACCESS.

 CAMPERS – ARENA SECURITY CHECK

Every time campers move from the campsite into the festival arena:

* You must pass through security.

* Bags may be searched.

* Items permitted within the campsite may not necessarily be permitted within the festival arena.

Please allow a little additional time when heading over to see your favourite DJs.

 CAMPING ALCOHOL

Campers may bring:

ONE CASE OF BEER PER CAMPING PITCH

This is for consumption within the campsite only.

Alcohol brought into the campsite cannot be taken into the festival arena.

NO GLASS is permitted.

 FIRE & COOKING

STRICTLY NO:

* Campfires

* Open fires

* Fire pits

* Disposable BBQs

* Fireworks

* Flares

 CAMPSITE SOUND SYSTEMS

NO LARGE OR AMPLIFIED SOUND SYSTEMS are permitted on the campsite.

Please respect neighbouring campers, particularly late at night.

 VEHICLES & CAMPSITE

* Vehicles must follow instructions from traffic marshals and campsite staff.

* Drive at walking speed within designated event areas.

* Park only where directed.

* Do not obstruct emergency routes.

* Once positioned, vehicles must not be moved within restricted campsite areas unless authorised by festival staff.

* Campervan and motorhome customers must have the correct pitch booking.

 YOUR CAMPING PITCH

Please:

* Camp only within designated areas.

* Keep emergency routes clear.

* Do not block walkways.

* Keep your pitch tidy.

* Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.

* Respect neighbouring campers.

* Do not leave valuables unattended.

Campsite opening, closing and arrival times will be published separately.

 LEAVING & RE-ENTRY

Campers with the correct wristband can move between the campsite and festival arena, subject to security checks.

Re-entry arrangements for Day and Weekend Pass holders will be confirmed in the final festival information.

Remember:

LAST GENERAL ENTRY IS 6PM.

 WEATHER

Love On The Runway is an outdoor festival.

Please check the weather before travelling and bring appropriate clothing, footwear, sun protection and waterproofs.

Normal adverse weather does not automatically mean the festival is cancelled.

In severe weather or an emergency, please follow instructions from festival staff and security.

 MEDICAL & WELFARE

Medical and welfare facilities will be available during the event.

If you or somebody else requires assistance, speak to security, festival staff, medical personnel or Event Control.

If you see somebody who appears unwell or vulnerable, please tell a member of staff.

 RESPECT EACH OTHER

Love On is about bringing people together through music.

We will not tolerate:

* Violence

* Threatening behaviour

* Harassment

* Discrimination

* Abuse towards staff, artists or other customers

* Dangerous behaviour

* Serious or persistent antisocial behaviour

Anyone behaving in a way that puts themselves or others at risk may be removed from the event.

LOOK AFTER YOUR FRIENDS. LOOK AFTER EACH OTHER.

 EMERGENCIES

If an emergency occurs, remain calm and follow instructions from festival staff, security and emergency services.

Do not attempt to enter restricted airport areas or leave through unauthorised exits.

Emergency routes must remain clear at all times.

 10 THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. NO TICKETS ARE SOLD AT THE AIRPORT.

2. LAST ENTRY FOR DAY/WEEKEND PASSES IS 6PM.

3. UNDER 18s MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

4. NO FOOD OR DRINK CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL ARENA, SUBJECT TO MEDICAL/ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS.

5. CAMPERS NEED THE CORRECT WRISTBAND.

6. CAMPERS WILL PASS THROUGH SECURITY EVERY TIME THEY ENTER THE ARENA.

7. NO GLASS, CAMPFIRES OR LARGE SOUND SYSTEMS.

8. STRICTLY NO DRONES, LASERS, KITES OR HELIUM BALLOONS.

9. ONE CASE OF BEER PER CAMPING PITCH – CAMPSITE ONLY.

10. FOLLOW STAFF AND SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL TIMES.
